Ever seen an outhouse like this?

Check out rules & links to other odd shots at Katney's.
Deluxe Texas Outhouse
(As seen outside of the booth of: Junk Gypsy)

This picture has been here before, but thought I'd use it for my Odd Shot this Monday, because on Friday, this is where I will be~Warrengton, Texas. There are many sites about the Semi-Annual Antique's Festival on the web, but you can start here if you so incline.

I wish my grandparent's outhouse would have looked like this one. Then, maybe I would have been a little happier to go there ~ NOT.
(Note from last week's Odd Shot: Anita guessed it right~it was a homemade gas tank (for a 1971 Jeep). Some others were really close. I really appreciate all the guesses!)

This is so cool!

And I'm so happy I guessed correctly on the gas tank... :) I've grown up around do-it-yourself mechanics, and farmers all my life - there are always all sorts of parts lying around! :)

This is so cute and made me laugh, a couple of yrs ago i had a couple come to the motel and on the back of there truck was a outhouse, she said that she was setting it in her yard for decoration.

Made me laugh, too. Thanks for reminding me to be thankful for the little things... like indoor plumbing :-D

My grandmother's outhouse wasn't that pretty, either. But it did have a Sears catalog (next to the toilet paper)! Thanks for stopping by my blog.

Love it! They fixed it up really cute. Is it a one holer or a two holer? HAHAHA My grandma and grandpa has an outhouse until the early 60s when mom and dad had an indoor bathroom put on the house for them. Not fun, especially at night!

Thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting. Nice to meet someone who knows east Texas!

OH my! Don't some people love to decorate? LOL

That is one really nice outhouse! all the adornment! But it isn't a two-holer, so it's a bit chintzy! LOL!

This is a real stunner. I have seen lots of outhouses and privys but none this elegant. I thought having electricity or a light builb in one would be amazing but now I have seen everything.

Thanks for visiting my blog. I appreciate it.

I think it looks fabulous....Just as long as it's no longer an outhouse :)))

I also wondered where the door was.
