stephanie lee's junkdrawer metalsmithing

I have been in California! Thanks to two blog friends, Riki Schumacher and Diana Frey, I spent three glorious days soaking in the overflowing knowledge of Stephanie Lee, at Carol Parks' studio, in North Hollywood. I will post more about California later, but for now, I've put together a short slide below showing pieces made in class. I have been finishing them (bezel pieces will have art & resin added next) since my return home; as I will be in a juried art show, Fayetteville Art Walk, May 2-3! Enjoy!

Hi Diane! I wanted to come over & introduce myself. I am a friend of Diana Frey's also. I went out to California for her Secret Shaker Doll Necklace class & we became such good buddies. While I was there she talked about being so excited about finally meeting you in person. She & I were like you two... always communicating with each other & yet never seen in person. WHAT A DELIGHT IT WAS TO MEET IN PERSON! She has talked about coming out to see us. That would be great wouldn't it!!!! I would love to get to know you & maybe we could go to some things together & or go out & meet up with her for something again. I live in the Ft Worth area so it is not as far as California. Hope to hear from you.
