" rhinestone dreams"
*****
I am working on new pieces that will be for sale in my next show in October.
It began with a vintage rhinestone brooch. It could be taken apart to use as a shoe clip or clothing accessory. Quite unique. This piece features one-half of the brooch. I added crystal quartz, swarovski crystal beads and rondells, yellow jade and faceted pineapple quartz. I wanted it to be simple yet elegant, not overworked. A piece you could wear with jeans and starched oxford shirt, or your favorite little black dress. The options are endless~

Please continue to pray for Houston and the surrounding Gulf Coast, as many people are hurting and will have to totally rebuild their lives. Thank God the damage was property and not person; but the pain is still very real and will be here for sometime to come.

Diane, as usual, your piece is just gorgeous. I love seeing what you put together - so inspiring!
I can hear the concern in your voice for the people who lost so much out there. Just know that we are still praying for the folks who need help. It seems like such a burden, sometimes, when we live so close to an area that was hit by a disaster. The overwhelming sense of helplessness in not being able to help everyone all at once can be unbearable at times.
I hope you and your family are doing well - how are your BIL & SIL? Just know that we are out here sending prayers your way.
:-) Molly
This piece is so COOL!!!! It is versatile and fun.
Thank you for reminding me to pray for everyone affected by the hurricane...can't slack on this.
Bless you and have a good week.
What a lovely pendant! You've done it justice, as always.

Beautiful new piece Diane! I'm glad you're getting past Ike...as we are. Thank God it wasn't worse!
It's a lovely lovely necklace. I have a very similar rhinestone clip and use it as a pendant, as well as clipping it to my clothing. xoxo

Ohhhh girl....this piece is just fabulous!!! Yes yes I can see this with a simple black dress...a pretty frilly blouse, a dark red sweater...so many options on this beautiful, elegant creation of yours!
I can pick up your hurting, sad spirit too hon on your Texas gulfcoast folks and the ravages of that storm...I hold you and your precious family, friends, beloved Texas in my prayers dear friend. You all shall prevail. God will give you all the strength....many many are praying, holding these sad of spirit people that lost so much in their hearts. The scope of the damage must be so heartwrenching dear...but the people will come together, help each other and rebuild. That is what is so fantastic about our America! We help our own in time of great needs. Ipray to God we always will! It must be so hard for you to see that loss in your community and state. Those souls that were lost will be mourned...we shall never forget. {{{{Love you}}}} AND HUGS sweet Diane, Jen
