What more do you need on an RV Trip to Garner State Park? The weather was beautiful, the water was - hummmmm - how do I describe refreshing? in the most refreshing way? Just one more of the best hill country destinations we have found.

Today is my birthday! (As my friend Nancy says, "It's a national holiday!")

Okay...I know sunbathing is not good for you, but I had no choice here! On the back of this picture my mother had written...Diane taken when you all were down July-58 She had sent the picture to my Aunt Honey. I was not quite a year old. My mother told me I weighed 31 lbs. at 11 months, but only 28 when I started first grade-go figure! I do have another picture taken the same time, but I was smiling in it :)

But this...this... is vintage Diane... so I had to post it....you see, I have been working on putting a picture under my profile, and this was the one I had picked - just a little more cropped. But, today, on my birthday, this is the perfect picture to share with all the ones I love! So lets laugh together at this one!

Fall Colors...

My newest necklace creation! It includes bone, wood, turquoise, red coral, picture jaspar and carnalian agate. The slight green opaque beads are some of my newest acquired from a vendor called Originals, 418 Villita St #700, San Antonio, Texas - www.Originalstexas.com. They were at the Stafford Bead Show a couple of months ago. I love their vintage look-almost chalky. I love this piece, as it has every color imaginable that you will wear this fall! I am in progress of making the bracelet, but working on the yard sale is cutting into my jewelry designing.....

Bandera and 20 Years!

We've been married for 20 years - July 7th, 2006! Went on a driving excursion thru the hill country-which included Bandera. Had to go into the Bandera Hardware Store-every little town in Texas has one! Pretty cool......being married for 20 years, that is!

RVing Is Our Life

I am getting ready for a Yard Sale this Saturday. I found Melanie's Fisher Price Camper set in my spare closet! I love it...plus now it will travel with us on all our trips as our table centerpiece! How great is that?

Old Ford's Rock

Outside the John T. Floore Country Store in Helotes, Texas, is this great old truck. Still hanging in after all these years. Just getting its second wind. What is coming next.....Hang on friends and family, as we are in for a wild ride!
