On Top of Old Baldy

......it is not covered with snow.....
...but a hill of rocks! All who reach the top of Old Baldy, are to bring a rock to put on the pile of rocks at the very top. Mel made it to the top first! You just wouldn't believe the view! On the way back down, a fellow "mountain climber" took a picture of the three of us-Barbara, Melanie and I. Look at the Frio River in the background...the emerald green water-it doesn't get more beautiful in Texas!

    I hope next year we can go. It looks beautiful. I love the party lights. I hope they were a big hit.

    Sometimes I forget that there are such beautiful places in Texas. One day we will have to take a family trip to the beautiful spots in Texas to show Chris and Lucas that there is more than just big city Houston and flat land!
